These Terms of Service govern your use of the Synca mobile application including all services provided through the app and the Synca website.

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Synca, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Synca.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Synca.

If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the app.

Synca is a productivity and wellness companion, not a medical tool

Synca insights are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition
If you have concerns regarding your menstrual health, please seek professional medical advice
Synca does not guarantee the accuracy of cycle predictions
Do not rely on Synca for contraception, fertility planning, or any medical purpose

Scope of Synca's Services

Synca is designed to provide productivity management based around your menstrual cycle. The app collects data related to your cycle and provides personalised, AI-powered productivity management recommendations based on this data.

Key features include:

Menstrual cycle tracking
Daily check-ins for mood and energy
AI-powered insights and recommendations
Plan My Day feature for productivity scheduling

Synca is a self-management app. Any recommendations made by the app are based on the data you choose to provide and general patterns, not medical analysis.

User Accounts and Data

Synca stores your data both locally on your device and securely on our servers to enable features like cross-device sync and AI-powered insights.

You are responsible for:

The accuracy of information you provide
Maintaining the security of your device
Any activity that occurs through your use of the app

Acceptable Use

When using Synca, you agree to use the app only for its intended purposes as described in these Terms.

You agree NOT to:

Use the app for any illegal purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' data
Share your account credentials with others
Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to access the app
Interfere with or disrupt the app's functionality
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
Use the app to harm, threaten, or harass others
Misrepresent your identity or age

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for users who violate these terms.

Intellectual Property

Synca and its contents, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and audio, are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

Copy, modify, or distribute Synca's content without written permission
Use Synca's trademarks or branding without authorisation
Create derivative works based on Synca

Subscription and Payments

If Synca offers premium features or subscriptions:

Pricing and features will be clearly displayed before purchase
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's Account Settings
No refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods

Apple App Store Terms

This app is distributed through the Apple App Store. You acknowledge that:

These Terms are between you and Synca, not Apple
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Synca
Apple is not responsible for any claims related to Synca, including product liability, legal compliance, or intellectual property
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

Synca is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

Synca is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

Loss of data
Loss of profits
Personal injury
Health-related outcomes
Missed events or scheduling issues
Any decisions made based on Synca's recommendations

Termination

You may stop using Synca at any time by deleting the app from your device.

To delete your data, use the "Delete Account" feature in the app's Settings before uninstalling.

We may suspend or terminate your access at our discretion if you violate these Terms, we are required to do so by law, or we discontinue the service.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date and notify you via the app or email for material changes.

Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree with updated Terms, please stop using Synca and delete the app.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law principles.

For users in the European Union, you may also be entitled to bring claims in your country of residence.
